A wrap-around case packer forms the carton around the product rather than dropping product into a pre-made case. The difference shows in the finished pack: the carton is forced against the product, producing an extremely tight, compact package with no room for containers to move inside it — which is what stops damage in transit and lets you use less board.
The position of the blank and of the containers is controlled electronically so both run at exactly the same speed. That synchronisation is the whole machine: lose it and you get crushed board and mispacks.
The range processes trays as well as carton cases, and can insert partitions, either pre-formed or traditional. Machines are built for good operator and maintenance access, which matters on a machine that runs format changes.
