Air treatment units handle waste air from industrial processes — particularly blown film extrusion and plastics moulding — and air conditioning for specific technical environments. Three types are available, and they answer different problems.
Chiller units with air or water condensation, in single or multiple zones, achieve high efficiency through the choice of high-quality components.
Air dehumidification units using dryer rotor technology are the specialist item. They prevent condensation forming on mould surfaces, which directly increases productivity and reduces the number of discarded workpieces. Any moulder running chilled tools in a humid climate knows the cost of condensation on the mould face; in a Gulf summer it is a daily problem rather than an edge case.
Air cooling units cover a wide range of cooling capacities and air flow rates and are fully customisable to the requirement. Selection depends on what the air is actually doing — carrying process heat away, conditioning a room, or protecting tooling from condensation — and on the ambient humidity the plant has to work against.
